WINFAB acquires Geotextile Manufacturing facility in Nashville, Georgia
WINFAB announces the latest Company expansion with the acquisition of a geotextile manufacturing facility in Nashville, Georgia.
WINFAB began manufacturing geotextile products in 1994, and for the past 20 years has steadily increased manufacturing capacity. The purchase of this new facility will allow WINFAB to expand its manufacturing capabilities and provide a greater diversification of products and services to the Geotextile Industry.
Purchase of the Nashville facility will complement the current manufacturing facility located in Willacoochee, Georgia, and provide the assets required to continue the Company's growth in the global geotextile industry.
Company President, Larry Booth, stated the Company had outgrown the current facility in Willacoochee, Georgia. The new facility in Nashville, Georgia is located on a 186 acre tract of land with 1,000,000 square feet of manufacturing buildings. The two facilities combined total 226 acres and 1,500,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities. The Nashville facility is serviced by a railroad spur for delivery of raw material and shipping of finished products.
Mr. Booth also stated that South Georgia is an ideal location for manufacturing with adequate infrastructure and an available workforce eager to learn new skills. He contributes the Company's success to the employees who work together to provide the best in quality and service to the Geotextile Industry.
